Two banks were robbed in the Boca Raton area Friday afternoon, authorities said. One of the robberies happened about 3:30 p.m. at Bank United, 9050 Kimberly Blvd., in suburban Boca Raton. A man approached the teller and handed her a note demanding money, police said. Once the suspect received the money, he fled.
